This “Super-Tuscan” is made from Sangiovese grapes combined with smaller amounts of Merlot and Syrah grapes which are vinified separately, blended and then aged in 350 litres French oak tonneaux for over a year
It displays notes of ripe red fruits and wild berries accompanied by scents of spices and liquorice. This is a wine of great complexity; full bodied with a long finish
